blissen is a camaraderie of handcrafted designers making affordable few-of-a-kind products for friends in san francisco... and beyond! we delight in improving our corner of the world - and inspiring others to do the same - using our hands, minds, conversations, and a little ingenuity, mixed with scraps of mainly found, left-over, or recycled paper and fabric. in our mass-produced world, blissen goods celebrate the genuine, unique, and irreplaceable aura of the handmade object, and the organic process from which it was created.

Lisa Chouinard likes to melt things. Her DIY health and beauty business, Feto Soap, was born after she purchased a soap making kit from a local craft store and became hooked on making soap. Her first commercial soap, the popular (and controversial) Feto Soap contains small, colorful polymer clay fetos and has been featured in For Him Magazine in the UK, United States, and Indonesia. Feto Soap has also been in an Italian magazine, People in Groove. But Feto Soap is not just about making a statement--it's about quality, 100% DIY soaps, lotion bars, lip balms and body sprays designed, labeled, promoted--and melted--by Lisa herself.
