MilleFeuille Photography (pronounced meal foy) is the vision of photographer Shannon Ledford. MilleFeuille creates exposure to the layers of our world and explores how an image can touch us and ignite the layers within each of us. Shannon spent nine months in Southern and Eastern Africa and six months in Southeast Asia capturing moments in time. MilleFeuille is a collection of fine art prints, greeting cards on all-natural mulberry paper and the NEW 2007 Escape to Africa calendar. Gimme that garbage! There are so many unwanted items out there that still have tons of potential. I save them from the garbage and transform them into new and functional items. Right now, I cut fabric salvaged from old clothes and linens and crochet it into purses and rugs, cut old plates and cups into tiles to mosaic found objects, use bottlecaps and books to make resin-filled magnets and pins, and thrift store yarn to crochet pouches and pet toys.
